About the Journal
Theatrical Research is an academic journal published by the Theatrical and Multimedia Research Institute of the University of Arts Târgu Mureș, both in print and online (ISSN 2344-4460) since 2020. The journal publishes studies, articles and reviews evaluated in the peer review system, covering various aspects, especially theatre history and performing arts, and encouraging inter- and multi-disciplinary research. The journal is indexed by Crossref, Index Copernicus and Arcanum and archived by CEEOL and PKP.
The University of Arts Târgu Mureș attained the “High Confidence” ranking granted by ARACIS (Romanian Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education) and its curricula are at the top of art universities in Romania.
The Theatrical and Multimedia Research Institute (TMRI), established in 2017 within the University of Arts Târgu Mureș, Romania, serves as a central hub for interdisciplinary research in theatre and multimedia arts. It promotes scientific collaboration, supports cultural heritage, and fosters innovation through national and international projects.
