Abstract

Ábel on the Internet

The paper enumerates the changes threatening the world stemming from the increase of volatility, uncertainty, complexity, and ambiguity. The global crisis could be solved by sustainable development that is hindered by individual and collective egoism and greed. Networked AI applications could be used to treat the threats recognized by human intelligence. Ábel living in the forest of uncertainty and unbearable threats cannot hope survival unless he remains faithful to the beginnings of human comedy set on stage between order and chaos, love, and strife.
