Usage and Computer-Related Learning Habits of Transylvanian Generation Z
In our research, we asked 206 Hungarian grammar school and high school students aged between 11 and 18 from Romania, Transylvania (Mureș, Harghita, Cluj, and Brașov County), how much and for what purpose they use the different media, how much they trust the content found there and how they make use of it in their studies. We also sought answers as to what extent their teachers use Internet content in teaching different subjects and what the students' need would be in this respect. We are aware of the fact that the Z generation has a specific relation to the current communication tools, so their motivation for learning and communication in the learning and teaching environment can be really successful if we approach them according to these specificities.
